Contract Outpatient Therapist 

* Job availability in Pamlico and/or Jones County

Therapist is responsible for conducting screening, evaluation, assessment, and treatment to children and adults in need of services. Persons in this position may provide individual, family, and group therapy, consultation, or they may conduct comprehensive clinical assessments. They must work closely with the consumer’s physician, other clinical staff, and community agencies. This position requires the ability to work in a mutually respectful partnership with persons served to gain the skills and confidence to address any issues and problems they face. A working knowledge of practical application of supportive therapeutic approaches, group dynamics, and family dynamics is required.

Must have the ability to bill private insurance companies, Medicaid/NCTracks and Trillium

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s Degree in Mental Health/Psychology/Social Work or related field
  • Unrestricted clinical license or associate license
  • Microsoft office skills
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Must pass background check and be eligible to work around small children and youth

On-Site or Telemedicine Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner 

PCFT seeks a Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to assess, diagnose and provide medication management for children and adults via telemedicine or on-site in Pamlico and Jones Counties. The following are necessary for this contract position:

  • Current, unrestricted State license
  • Familiar with HIPAA compliant EHR platform
  • Knowledge of CPT codes and ICD 10 codes
  • Must have own Malpractice Insurance policy
  • Minimum of 2 years post fellowship experience
  • Assess individuals for mental health disorders and make appropriate DSM diagnoses. Ensure that services are delivered in a medically appropriate manner and care provided is in compliance with service definitions and best practices
  • Strong communication, documentation and diagnosing skills
  • Ability to collaborate with therapists and other treating professionals
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to adhere to the areas of regulatory compliance, professional standards and ethical practices
  • Review past treatments, evaluations, and other relevant information in order to develop an appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan.
  • Compassionate and familiar with rural population preferred
  • Credentialed with NCTracks and Trillium Health Resources preferred

* Position is contract, starting with Part Time (1 day) and will grow as the service is needed.  Applicant will work from their location and the service will be implemented in Jones County.
